About Quotations

Need a quotation? Great! Just send me a detailed e-mail and I'll be happy to send you a quotation for a site design. Better yet, visit www.halfadot.com and fill out the quotation form for whatever you need.

Need a different sort of quotation? Well, some of my favourites are at the top of every page in their own little box - and through the magic of randomness a (more-or-less) different quote appears for each page you visit.

If you don't like any of those, a nice source of quotations is at - surprise - QuoteLand.com.

I get some of my quotes from books (those pre-Internet things), and the bargain of the decade was a book I picked up for $0.25 at a garage sale (or was it a garbage sale?). The 'Penguin Thematic Dictionary of Quotations'. Here's a couple of examples from their section on plays:

'I didn't like the play, but then I saw it under adverse conditions - the curtain was up'
